Paxros
Fractional AI lead for Utah firms

AI done right. Work made human.

AI is changing how firms work. I help mid-sized professional services firms, from CPA and law firms to consultancies, decide what to change, then I build it, train the team and hand it off. Strategy to working systems, from one person.

Your process You
What AI changes

The tools are the easy part.

Your team can learn AI in an afternoon. The harder questions are what it does to how the firm runs. That's where I start, and then I build what we decide on.

Work

How the work gets done

Which processes change, where AI fits, and what stays with a person. We map the real workflow before choosing any tool.

Price

How you charge for it

When work gets faster, hourly billing earns less. Fixed fees, value pricing and clear scope keep the gains in the firm.

Staff

Who does what

Capacity, roles, workload and training. Time data that shows which clients and people are stretched, and where AI frees hours.

Try it

What does faster work cost you?

If you bill by the hour, every hour AI saves is an hour you can't bill. Put in your own numbers.

Revenue at risk under hourly billing
$700,000

4,000 hours a year your team would no longer bill.

The same hours could become more clients, faster turnaround or higher-value work, if your pricing lets you keep them.

An estimate for discussion, not a forecast. The savings figure depends on your work mix.
How we work

Strategy to implementation. Then a clean handoff.

I don't stop at a recommendation. Every engagement runs the full loop, starting with how your firm really works, prices and staffs today.

  1. StrategyDecide what to change, in what order, and what it's worth.
  2. EnablementTrain your people and set the ground rules for AI.
  3. ImplementationBuild the automations, AI workflows and dashboards myself.
  4. HandoffDocument it and hand it over, so your team runs it without me.
Three ways to start
  1. Start here

    AI Readiness Review

I interview your leaders and team, map your highest-volume work, and look at your time and billing data. You get a roadmap across work, pricing and staffing: what to change, in what order, and what it's worth. The fee is credited toward the next step.

  2. Then

    Strategy Sprint

One targeted change, designed, built and handed off. An automated workflow, a new pricing model, a time and capacity model, or an AI rollout, made with the people who will use it.

  3. Ongoing

    Fractional AI Lead

Your part-time AI lead. A quarterly roadmap, a monthly leadership meeting, team training, and the builds themselves, so the firm keeps adapting as the tools change.

I build what I recommend: automations, AI workflows, dashboards and Microsoft 365 systems. Then I document them and train your people, so nothing depends on me.

Results

What changed for clients

Pricing, time and capacity, and the AI and automation that made them stick.

Law firm
Hourly → fixed fees

A pricing analysis that moved the firm from billable hours to set fees.

CPA firm
~25%

Less tax-prep workload after redesigning the process and automating the repeat steps.

Professional services firm
20%

Faster client response after call analytics showed hold times, volume and workload by person.

Mid-size tax firm
One hub

Files scattered across email, drives and Teams moved into one SharePoint site with clean permissions and automatic alerts.

Mid-size law firm
Live data

Static Excel exports replaced with dashboards that update themselves from the firm's own software.

Mid-size tax firm
4 hrs → minutes

Yearly folder setup across thousands of client files, now a script IT reuses every year with near-zero errors.

“…trained our team and implemented a scalable system to track time across clients, giving us clear visibility into client complexity and employee workload.”

About

Hi, I'm Nate.

I build AI and automation systems for a living. I started with Excel macros, automating my own work, and kept going. Along the way I found the bigger wins were rarely the automation itself. They were how a firm priced its work, tracked its time and used its people.

That's the work I lead with now. I bring a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt's discipline and an operations background from my master's in healthcare administration, and I still build what needs building.

My clients are mid-sized firms: big enough that these decisions move real money, not big enough to hire a full-time AI lead. I fill that seat part time, and I teach your people to own what we build.

About the name: pax is Latin for peace, and ros comes from macros, where the work began. Say it PAX-rohs.
